Born of the Brumes, Finny joined the army to fight in the Dragonsong war, seeking a better life for himself.

He was trained in the army as a Field Medic and aided in scientific research of biology, though he is best skilled in first aid.

Finny was awarded retirement and his Lordship for his services in the army after the end of the Dragonsong War.

Known as a devotee of Halone, he attends mass dutifully but does not linger for fellowships.

Said to have a very forgettable face, many rarely noticed his attendance or presence in social spaces.

Has faced hate crimes against Duskwight. His parents were murdered during a massacre of duskwights who have received their titles while he was not home.

During a terrorist attack at a soiree, he had been a target for being a duskwight but survived the ordeal and even administered first aid to victims, earning a decent reputation amongst nobles. The only problem is...few remember his face.

Known to be quite clueless. When interrogated about the deaths happening around him, he had once fainted due to fear, but also had nothing useful to give authorities.

Given title and land, Finny does not share the delight of his parents and found higher society to be superficial and pretentious.

Attending his first debut party, Finny orchestrated an attack, leading a group of disgruntled duskwights to attack the party, cutting down those of the same skin who had dared accept the mockery of a title, him included, to set a narrative that he too, was a victim.

He sent assassins the veil of the night to reduce the number of duskwight nobilities, even his parents were not spared.

Finny has also been pulling strings and 'aiding' a society of duskwight that lived underground in the tunnels connecting Ishgard and various cities. These duskwight are known to be criminals and those who have been exiled and scorned, having no where else to go.

During a deployment to Dzamael Darkhold, Finny almost perished with the rest of his troop. However, he managed to strike a deal with a voidsent — Persephone; and survived.

As part of the deal, Finny will occasionally go out into the brumes to hunt in order to feed the voidsent, as not doing so will have his own aether drained painfully instead.

His preferred method of killing is via strangulation with hemp ropes he usually burns after it's use.

Due to this, his victims were usually found completely drained, hollowed to the bones with rope burns on their neck. The killer was nicknamed as 'The Night Wraith'. No one has been able to trace his identity as of now.

The relationship he maintains with his voidsent is very parasitic. His voidsent remains passive unless Finny's life is directly threatened, while Finny has no real control over it unless he is willing to risk his aether for it's help.

His Voidsent is attracted to power and strength, the stronger is a person, the more it bids Finny to kill them so as to take their aether.

There is a possibility that the voidsent has corrupted Finny and amplifying his hatred, as well as twisting his beliefs and moral compass.
